Hi! Thank you for wanting to learn more about me, that’s super cool of you.
Now what’s super cool about me?
To get to the point… I think videos are NEAT.
I love to watch them, create them, splice ‘em, re-watch them, and sometimes be in them (if there are lattes involved).
I have been video editing since I was ~13 (thank you iMovie) and have been loving it ever since (I no longer use iMovie, thank you Premiere)
I thrive in creating things that make people smile, hopefully chuckle, think a little, and maybe invoke a few goosebumps.
I love horror stories and films. I grew up in Maine, so I am basically related to Stephen King. He taught me all he knew (telepathically, from afar, unbeknownst to him). I used to make horror shorts, check them out here:
Nitty gritty work stuff:
In 2016, I graduated with a New Media degree and started working at The VIA Agency in Portland, Maine, where I edited projects for a wide range of clients such as L.L. Bean, Golden Corral, Perdue, Welch’s, Klondike, The JFK Library, Arm and Hammer and more.
After 5 years at VIA, I moved to NYC to work at Droga5 where I cut spots for iHop, PetSmart, and Miller High Life. I was there for one year and lived the ~ad agency dream~.
I was then asked to work for Cabin Editing Company where I was an Assistant Editor on some of the coolest projects I’ve ever worked on. From music videos, documentary work, to expanding my portfolio range in brands such as Ray Ban, Pfizer, Tinder, Colombia, Netflix, Meta, and Infiniti.
I now work in-house for Fidelity Investment’s social team as a Senior Content Creator making organic social videos. We make awesome financial literacy content, and I’m super proud of what I do there. I cut educational Brokerage YouTube videos such as these, edit a lot of social vids, and even sometimes get in front of the cam.
In my spare time, I freelance for a wide range of brands including Vogue, Elle, StudioRes by Marriott, Markarian, Solist, Numero Magazine, GDW, Mission Magazine, Schön, and more.
If I’m not surfing a Premiere Timeline, I am at Nighthawk cinema watching films, dirty martini in hand (gin).
Cheers!
